4/4 GLIGA Gama Elite Extra 1 Violin - GUARNERI PATTERN - Deep Warm Master Sound - Code D1366V

Handmade - Superior Workmanship - Oil Finish - Professional Setup - Exceptional Sound - Ready to Play

All Gama Professional violins are HANDMADE by the best luthiers in Gliga's workshop. Each instrument is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which confirms that the instrument meets all the design, manufacturing, finishing, and setup requirements that define the GAMA Professional level. All Gama violins are finished with a unique formula of German oil-based varnish, whose elasticity factors have been perfected to allow the fibres of the wood to vibrate freely and produce extraordinary sounds while ensuring optimal wood protection.

The Gama Professional Violins are usually chosen by advanced players, adult amateurs who play the violin as a hobby, orchestra players, and anyone who wants to own and play a fine violin. The Gama violins are superior to those listed under the Gems 1 level by the wood quality, aesthetic value, manufacturing process, finishing style, and accessories. All these elements are of superior quality, which directly influences the quality of the sound.

This violin is setup with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings and an ebony tailpiece with four fine tuners for fast and precise tuning.

To select a case and a bow go to the top left menu and choose these items independently, or you can use these links for a 4/4 violin case and a 4/4 violin bow. All items will be shipped at once, in the same package.

The combination of woods that is used at the manufacturing of this violin is as follows:

- Solid Carpathian Resonance Spruce (Latin name: Picea Abies (L) Karst) - used for the top plate of the instrument, the bass bar, the blocks, the corner-blocks, the linings, and the sound post.

- Solid Carpathian Flamed Mountain Maple (Latin name: Acer Pseudoplatanus L.) - used for the back plate of the instruments, the neck, the scroll, the peg box, the ribs, the bridge, and sometimes the accessories.

- Ebony (Latin name: Diospyros sp.) - used for the accessories: fingerboard, pegs, top nut, purfling, chinrest, tailpiece, the saddle, and the end pin.
